Day 01 :
Arrival in Colombo

Arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, meeting, and welcome assistance by our representative in Sri Lanka. thereafter transfer to Colombo.

Upon arrival commence the Colombo city tour.

Day 02 :
Colombo/ Chilaw/ Dambulla/ Sigiriya

After breakfast leave the hotel and drive to Sigiriya via Chilaw, en route to visit Munneswaram temple and Manavari kovil. iscover the rich heritage of the Muneeshwaram Temple Complex in Sri Lanka, a significant Hindu site with roots dating back to at least 1000 CE. Linked to the epic Ramayana and its hero-king Rama, this sacred site features five temples, including one dedicated to Shiva, the largest and most revered temple in the complex. Other temples honor Ganesha, Aiyanar, and Kali. The Kali Temple, in particular, is also frequented by Buddhists. Visit the Manavari Temple in Chilaw, Puttalam District, a significant Hindu site with a fascinating connection to the Ramayana. According to legend, after Lord Rama defeated King Ravana and freed Sita, he installed and prayed at a Shiva lingam here—making it a unique and sacred site, second only to the one in Rameshwaram, India. This ancient temple is a key destination for those following the Ramayana trail in Sri Lanka, attracting many local and Indian tourists each year. Thereafter visit the Dambulla cave temple - Explore the Dambulla Cave Temples, an ancient site with a striking 500-foot rock formation. Dating back to the First Century B.C., these caves sheltered King Walagamba during his exile, and he later built this remarkable temple complex. Highlights include the 47-foot-long recumbent Buddha in the first cave, adorned with ancient frescoes, and the grand second cave, featuring 150 life-size Buddha statues and vibrant frescoes depicting key events in Buddha's life and Sinhalese history. Evening climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress.

Day 03 :
Sigirya/ Kandy

After breakfast leave the hotel and drive to Kandy.

Upon arrival commence Kandy city tour, including a visit to the Kandy Upper Lake for stunning views, a leisurely stroll around the lake, a fascinating exploration of the Gem Museum, and a vibrant shopping experience at the local bazaar. Day 04 :
Kandy/ Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast leave the hotel and drive to Nuwara Eliya.

En route Visit Sri bhakta hanuman temple

Perched atop a stunningly picturesque mountain in Ramboda, just 30 kilometers north of Nuwara Eliya, the Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple is a must-visit spiritual landmark in Sri Lanka. Day 05 :
Nuwara Eliya/ Yala

After breakfast leave the hotel and drive to Yala via Ella area. En route Visit Sitha Amman temple, Ashoka Vithika and Ravana water fall.

Ashok Vatika, believed to be the garden where Sita was held captive in the Ramayana, situated in the kingdom of the rakshasa king Ravana, this beautiful garden is renowned for its lush surroundings and the exquisite garden houses designed by the divine architect Vishvakarma. Featured in the Sundara Kanda of the Ramacharitamanas by Tulsidas, Ashoka Vatika offers a glimpse into the rich tapestry of Hindu mythology. Followed by a trip to Seetha Amman Temple, a significant Hindu shrine.

Ravana Falls is a breathtaking waterfall, 1080 feet high (cascades into several falls) close to the road from Ella to Wellawaya about 6 Km south from Ella. The stream, a tributary of Kirindi Oya plunges with a foaming spray over a series of ledges into the valley close to a bend in the road. The waters rise from Wewatenna highland above the rocks. In general, the rocky underground of the waterfalls in Sri Lanka consists of hard gneiss or granite, but here the material is khondalite, a kind of limestone which undergoes decay faster. This has resulted in many caves being formed near the falls. King Ravana of Ramayana legend is said to have lived in one of the caves above the waterfalls.
Thereafter visit Ravana cave which is Uncover the wonders, a stunning example of King Ravana's architectural mastery. These ancient tunnels, skillfully carved through the hills, were designed for swift travel and served as secret routes linking major cities, an ancient airport, and dairy farms. Day 06 :
Yala/ Koggala

After breakfast leave the hotel and drive to Koggala. En route Visit Katharagama Temple.

Katharagama is a significant pilgrimage site in Sri Lanka, known for its spiritual importance to both Hindu and Buddhist traditions. It features the Katharagama Temple, dedicated to the Hindu deity Skanda (Murugan), attracting thousands of devotees, especially during festivals. The area is rich in natural beauty and is linked to the Ramayana, where Lord Rama sought blessings to rescue Sita from Ravana. This blend of spirituality and scenic landscapes makes Katharagama a unique destination for cultural and religious experiences.

Therefter visit Ussangoda ramayanaya site. Itis a striking location in Sri Lanka, known for its unique landscapes and rich mythological significance. Situated near the southern coast, it features red soil and rocky terrain, creating a dramatic contrast with the surrounding greenery. Ussangoda is often associated with the Ramayana, believed to be a site linked to the legendary flight of Ravana and his mythical aerial chariots.The area is also notable for its archaeological sites, including ancient ruins and artifacts. With its breathtaking views and spiritual connections, Ussangoda is a fascinating destination for visitors interested in history, mythology, and natural beauty.

Day 07 :
Koggaka/ Galle – Airport departure

After breakfast leave the hotel visit to gall city tour at morning.

Explore the historic city of Galle, a southern gem in Sri Lanka, renowned for its impressive Portuguese fortress built during their 153-year rule. This UNESCO World Heritage Site occupies a scenic peninsula and features stunning colonial architecture from both the Portuguese and Dutch eras. Stroll through the fort to admire the Dutch church with its classic facade, the old hospital, and the governor’s residence. Don’t miss the British era Anglican Church and the historic Meera Mosque, reflecting the diverse history and charm of this unique fort.

After Galle city tour leave for the airport for the departure.
